The Royal Saint George
Architectural Shingle Roof with Copper Details
Set along a golf course in Fuquay-Varina, The Royal Saint George is a classic white two-story home with a long row of front dormers and two tall chimneys. We replaced the roof from the deck up and finished the dormers and chimneys in copper, so the house looks as graceful from the fairway as it does from the front walk.
Scope of work
Complete tear-off of the existing roof, down to the decking
Decking inspected and repaired where needed before any new work began
New underlayment, starter course and CertainTeed Landmark shingles installed as one complete manufacturer system
New flashing at the chimneys, the dormers and every roof-to-wall transition
Copper detailing at the dormers and new copper chimney caps
New hip and ridge caps to finish each roofline cleanly
Materials
Roofing: CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles
Color: Weathered Wood
Metalwork & accents: Copper at the dormers and chimney caps

A steep, detailed roofline with multiple dormers, valleys and wall transitions
